My research background is in systematics and evolution of various flowering plant groups, and I have been working on the genus Erica since 2008. In 2019 I joined the University Gardens at Bergen as curator of the Arboretum which includes Scandinavia's largest Rhododendron collection. I am currently looking to use phylogenomic tools developed initially for Erica to address issues in species delimitation arising from our living Rhododendron collections, in collaboration with our Emeritus Professor Per Magnus Jørgensen.
