My research program studies the nutritional physiology of horticultural crops with the intention of developing ideas, practices, and products that facilitate efficient and sustainable horticultural production. Current foci include soil adaptation and fertilization of blueberry and rhododendron in high pH soils. I am pursuing these research foci using a combination of whole-plant, biochemical, agricultural, and ‘omics’ approaches.
